Here is some work in progress from my next book, The Butterfly Dance, which is out on March 9th.
I am thrilled that Robin’s Winter Song has been nominated for the 2017 Kate Greenaway medal. There are so many wonderful books on the list, including lots from fellow CSA students which is great. Bologna Children’s Book Fair is always a big treat, from the illustrator’s wall where anyone can pin up their work, to the Illustrators Exhibition which shows the best in international illustration. Hifest is a great place to meet other illustrators and buy their beautiful work. Two of my favourite purchases were by Melissa Castrillon and Daisy Hirst
